Make sure your receiver's
A or B button is activated.
Also, refer to your receiver's
troubleshooting manual for
help as well. And finally, do
a run-through check on all
of your wire connections to
make sure eveything is in
the right spot.

If it's a Windows XP computer, try this menu item: Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Entertainment -> Volume Control
You'll probably see one or more of the controls at the bottom or the mute box checked. Adjust the controls to the middle; that should get some sound. If not, start unchecking the mute boxes until it works.
If it's a stereo, check the speaker selection. It may have been moved to a different output. With something playing (radio, CD, etc), try the different output selections until you hear one that works.

Try looking in your control panel for what might be wrong. I think there is a place to go for sound and what not. Or maybe the volume is turned down on the computer, not the speakers.
