And if they do why? Did he promise you something? You know he will not deliver what he has promised don't you? The only thing he can deliver is suffering for eternity so is this what you want?

yes.Because they refuse to hear the truth about GOD and rather live under the dominion of satan. They rather live in darkness more than the light. They usually don't believe in eternity or an after life they think they die and thats it so they live a carefree life. They see so many bad things happening so they beleive more in evil forces but if they took time of to look at life itself they would see the good side and begin to worship the true and living GOD.If the devil has promise you something it could only lead to misfortune nothing good in no way can come out of it.The only thing he can bring is a lifetime of suffering pain unhappiness etc.

I've actually never known anyone who's ever admitted that they truly worship the devil or demons in an 'evil' way. I have known some Black Metal people who were "into it" but I'm not sure how serious they really were about it. I don't think a lot of the true devil worshipers would really want to talk much about it. Also, I don't think it would be the person you'd assume it to be. I don't think there's anyway to know if any use Y!A. Actually believing in a true evil and than worshiping it knowingly is probably one of few things that are too much for me.

I'm sure there are many young people who claim to be Satanists and think that means they worship Satan. But I don't know of any religions that actually worship the devil. If they were they would have to be Christian at the base (not sure if Islam has the Devil or not), because the devil is part of the Christian belief system.

Bright blessings.

I have reviewed a lot of answers here and I don't see any people claiming to seriously worship the devil. I know people who hold nature in high esteem and people who find sacredness in places that you might not associate with your own ideas of sacredness, but after that, the idea tends to get lost in semantics.
No one would choose to "worship" something that would bring them "eternal suffering". I predict you will only get one "yes" answer to this question at the most and that one person will not mean what you think they mean.
Just my opinion

thelmic magick shows respect to all spritual energies , these energies are only evil if used for such purpose ...commonly referred to as black magick although they can be used and controlled fairly easily by those who have the right knowledge , and without any fear of eternal damnation , all gods creatures have a purpose , the temnple of set as mentioned by another poster does actually have thelmic origins and due to the nature and context of its rituals doesn't exactly allign with devil worship ,

if anyone has done a little research on Sett , you'll find he was the highest God in egypt at one point of time as the priests of Orisis iand Isis took more control and gained more following Set was relegate to the postion of the representative of evil to turn people away from worship of him and to ensure the relgion of set would not expand or survive very similar to what christianity has done to many pagan gods

Do you believe God is real? If so, you have to believe the Devil is real also. God sent Lucifer down from Heaven into the pit that is Hell. God created the Devil. Therefore, Satan is one of God's creations. Everyone says that all of God's creations are great. All of God's creatures, etc. etc.

If the Devil is real, then he can be worshiped, just as God is real and can be worshiped. You are questioning the reasonableness of the people who DO worship the Dark Master. That is simply a matter of perception. There are people who KNOW in their hearts that your beliefs are WRONG. Just as you KNOW in your own heart that their belief is WRONG.

Look to your God for the direction of your faith. Let God worry about the paths taken by others.

Let's think about that one.

On one hand the devil supposidly does god's work by punishing sinners. Yet he was banished from heaven for being god's number one enemy? And they're at war?

I'm more prone to think that if the devil is god's enemy, he does not owe him any favors. More than likely he is recruiting human souls to serve in his army.

The enemy of someone's enemy is their friend. It just doesn't make sense.

Not that I believe in those fables, but there are some lessons to be learned.

Most modern Satanists do not worship the Devil, they worship themselves.... to be a true devil worshiper: first you have to believe in him and therefore true devil worship requires a Christian or Muslim (a very confused one at that)

The Church of Satan is a group that glorifies Satan, but it's members say that they do so in mockery of mainstream religion. There is the Temple of Set where they actually believe in the Devil and have rites of worship. They find spiritual satisfaction in it as some people find in other faiths.
