Just curious if you got beal with a belt when you were kids

Oh yeah. If we were acting up we get threatened with "The Belt". It kept us in line. We were the best behaved kids in the neighborhood. I personally would never discipline my children like that and I have forgiven my parents for it but for many years I was resentful of them. They both have realized that they were too harsh and have apoligized to us which I know was very hard for them to admit. We have a good relationship now.

Heck ya!! Well, my brother got the belt. I got my Mom's (old style leather, bass flip flops from the 80's) Hurt like hell! Also paint stick coated in white paint.

Sure, my first whippin was from a preacher that wore my tail out with a belt and also the girl i got in a fight with.

Yes, but they were good, sound well deserved spankins' with a thick leather belt, that I felt when I tried to sit for a while after. These were not abusive and were very effective.

hell yeah. I'm proud to admit that I've met the business end of a belt and a switch for that matter it made me the person i am today and if need be ill use them on my kids.

One time by my father. I tried never to do anything wrong again after that. I do believe in a butt smack and a hand smack is good every once in a while. Not a BEATING. It shows kids right from wrong and it shows them you mean business. When they do something horrible.

Yes, I was spanked with a belt, and yes it was a good thing. Modern day parents coddle their children too much, and that is why their children have problems.

Sure did, belts,hands,switches you name it I got it. I swore when I grew up and had children that I would never spank mine. I have 2 children and I have never spanked them at all, I just cant see causing physical pain to people that I love so much.
