It's a 1990 Ford Tempo. There's a poorly installed radio which I pulled slightly out of place. It was acting strangely, so I wanted to check if the back looked alright. In doing so, I somehow disconnected the dash lights and back lights. I'm guessing that the wires at the back of the radio, when pulled, pulled some other wire(s) out of place.

If you know this car, how can I fix the situation. I know there are a few wires back there, but which would be for the lights, how would I get at the wires, and where are they likely disconnected? Any precautions I should take?

Thanks!

Some one installed that radio and got the power from your light source. Yes there are precaution, and I suggest you take it to a shop you know. You have to get upside down on your back just to see what you have to work on.

You may have just pulled a ground loose when you pulled the wires.
A haynes manual for that year tempo will have a wiring diagram and a world of knowledge for other stuff you need to know about a car of that age
