Many people believe that they will be raptured out of here before tribulation comes. Many others believe there is no catching away before tribulation. I need scriptures to back up this topic. Please and thanks.

RAPTURE

Rev.10:6 And sware by Him that liveth for ever and ever, Who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:
TIME NO LONGER
Rev.10:7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as He hath declared to His servants the prophets.
SEVENTH ANGEL WHEN HE BEGINS TO SOUND

I Cor.15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
FLESH AND BLOOD CANNOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM
I Cor.15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
ALL BE CHANGED, NOT JUST THE CHURCH
I Cor.15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
AT THE LAST TRUMP, SEVENTH

I Thes.4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
THE TRUMP OF GOD, SEVENTH
I Thes.4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
THE CLOUDS
The word “the” is not in the Greek manuscripts. Clouds is used by Paul for a throng.
Heb.12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
THE AIR
The word “air” Greek (aer) means “to breathe, respire”, NOT SKY. In other words the breath of life or spirit. Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God.

II Thes.2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto Him,
OUR GATHERING TOGETHER UNTO HIM
II Thes.2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
NOR BY LETTER AS FROM US, FIRST THESSALONIANS
II Thes.2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
LET NO MAN DECEIVE YOU BY ANY MEANS
The sequence of events is Satan first, then the Lord’s day.

Rev 11:3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
Rev 11:4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
TWO CANDLESTICKS

Rev 1:20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.
CANDLESTICKS ARE CHURCHES

Yet there are men that teach the church is raptured. Men that teach that flesh and blood is taken and others left behind. It’s nonsense when you study His Word.

Dear Game Starved,

After careful personal study i support the pre-tribulational period. i'll do my best to present some reasons with Scriptures:

**The nature of the Tribulation:

a) It's a time of wrath: Rev 6:16-17; 11:18, 14:19; 15:1, 15:7; 16:1; 16:19; 1 Thessalonians 1:9-10 (He delivers us from the wrath to come). Matthew 24:21- time like no other.

b) It is a time of Judgment: Rev. 14:7, 15:4; 16:5-7 (Believers will be judged at the white throne judgement- tribulation is a time where God's wrath is being poured out upon sin).

c) Indignation (God is Angry at sin, because He is Holy). Isaiah 26:20.

d) Time of punishment (God is not discipling sin- He's punishing it). Isaiash 24:20-21.

e) Described as a time of Jacob's trouble. Jeremiah 30:7.

***We see in this first part that the tribulation is a time where God is judging and pouring his wrath out upon sin. It does not make sense for believers to be present because we will give a separate personal account to God @ the white throne judgement where we are judged for our faithfulness and not for our sin (since Christ has already done that work on the cross).

II. Purpose of Tribulation

a) Focuses on Israel and unbelievers (not the church).
b) Revelation 3:10 (Earth-dwellers).
c) Isreal- Jeremiah 30:7

III. Doctrine of Imminence (Christ can return at any point).

a) To the church no signs are given (we are told to watch for His return) not look for signs of the Tribulation.
John 14:1-3, Acts 1:11, 1 Cor. 15:51, Phil. 3:20, Colossians 3:4, 1 Theassolnians 1:10, 1 Timothy 6:14, James 5:8, 1 Peter 3:3-4.

b) The believer is to look for the Lord Himself. (1 Thess. 5:6, Titus 2:13, Revelation 3:3).

IV. Interval (There is a necessary interval between the Rapture and Jesus 2nd coming because):

a) Judgement of the nations (Matthew 25:31-46)
b) Beamis Seats (Rewards- 2 Cor. 5:9, 1 Cor. 3:11-16, Revelation 4:4, 19:8, 19:14).
c) Christ will make us blameless (Ephesians 5:25-27, Jude 24). Thsi needs to be done before the 2nd coming because when he comes and establishes his millenial rule on earth, we will rule and reign with him.

V. There is a distinction between the Rapture and the 2nd Coming.

A. Imminency

1) There are no signs that precede the Rapture. John 14:-14, 1 Cor. 15:51-58, 1 Th. 4:13-17

2) Signs precede the 2nd coming: Mt. 24:4-28, Revelation 19:11-21.

VI. The Church is not destined for wrath

1) Christ is our propitiation and has satisfied God's wrath against sin. (1 John 2:2, 4:10, Romans 3:25)

2) We have been delivered from God's wrath. (Revelation 3:10, 1 Thessalonians 1:10, 5:9)

Sorry for the lengthiness of this email. But these are notes from my personal study. Hope that helps. Kindly,

Nickster

Whatever the nature of the tribulation and the millennial reign, the rapture is tied immediately to the second coming of Christ, and that is after the tribulation (Matthew 24:29ff).

You are getting caught up in mythology, just like those people who used to play dungeons and dragons. There is no rapture and no tribulation. You are waiting for a mythological event.
