When I pray to God (Father, Son, Holy Spirit), I am asking for God's blessing on my life and on others. So I don't "bless myself." As a priest, I do bless others in God's name! The Lord's Prayer is a good model, the best model for prayer. It begins with a recognition of God's existence and power. It involves praying for ourselves and for others. And it includes a reminder for us to forgive others.
Blessings!

I pray to god. I pray for different thing's,depending on what is going on in my life. I always thank him for the little blessings in my life and I always pray for others. I admit that I used to pray for things that I did not need but wanted. I have a different friendship with him now so my prayers are completely different.

Yes, sometimes, and kind of, in that order. I pray to the god and the goddess, both of whom are higher beings. I pray for others if they request it. I was taught that you must never interfere with the free will of another, and that means not working magick on their behalf without their permission. I don't bless myself so much as set up protections around myself.

I thank God for all of the blessings in my life. I pray for those I know that are in need of prayer and I pray for people I know that don't have faith in Christ.

"Be thankful always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."

I pray, as well as doing ritual and spells. Praying is the more common activity though.

I pray for others, I pray for peace, and I pray for enlightenment and that which I need.

As far as blessing myself, sometimes I use a ritual bath for cleansing and preparation.

I do not pray for anything in my personal prayers-except for the ability to face life (good and bad things) as it happens.

All my prayer are ''Thank you''--many times a day --------for all the good things that happen thruout the day-small things and big things.
