There are no safe and effective home remedies: most of the things that will kill the scabies will also cause skin irritations, especially in a child.
Ask your pharmacist for a cream containing permethrin, and use it according to instructions. The brand is called "Lyclear" in Australia, but similar creams should be available in other countries under different brands.
Make sure you wash all bedclothes, clothes and towels she's contacted in the previous three days in the hot wash in the washing machine, best done while she's wearing the cream.
Family members and others in close contact may also need treatment: scabies is very contagious.
Watch out for infected sores: these will need a doctor's attention.

Anything that works on mange for dogs works for scabies. If it doesn't hurt the dog, it won't hurt a person. Think bug killer. I ended up having to spray everything in the house with Raid to get rid of it. I got it from my dog.

the pharmacy sells a product that is behind the counter but in most places you just have to ask for it . its called nix .
please take note of this over use of nix can result on seizures so dont use it more then 3 times in total in one year.
if your worried about the drug nix then you may ask for alternative meds.
you must wash all clothes bedding and vac floors spary raid or other indoor bug spray around the carpet .
if your in the north and its cold put your bed outside mattress and box spring as well after you wash all the clothes you have in as hot water as possilbe hang them out in the cold too.
try hard not to scartch.
again if your in the north you could turn off the water in your home drain all the pipes and let the house get really cold for one night below zero.

Drugs commonly used for scabies include gamma benzene hexachloride1% and benzyl benzoate emulsion. If you can get them over the counter then use them. Permethrin 5% is another drug.
