These cookies are sooo delicious, and they have the best texture. They are so fast to put together too! I actually got it from an old recipe that my Great Grandma had clipped out of a newspaper. Grandma always knows best!!

cooking time:20 min 10 min prep
ingredients:
1 cup butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 large eggs
2 3/4 cups flour
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons sugar
3 teaspoons cinnamon
procedures:
Preheat oven to 350°.
1.Mix butter, 1 1/2 cups sugar and eggs thoroughly in a large bowl.
2.Combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt in a seperate bowl.
3.Blend dry ingredients into butter mixture.
4.Chill dough, and chill an ungreased cookie sheet for about 10-15 minutes in the fridge.
5.Meanwhile, mix 3 tablespoons sugar, and 3 teaspoons cinnamon in a small bowl.
6.Scoop 1 inch globs of dough into the sugar/ cinnamon mixture.
7.Coat by gently rolling balls of dough in the sugar mixture.
8.Place on chilled ungreased cookie sheet, and bake 10 minutes.
9.Remove from pan immediatley.

1 cup soft shortening
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 cups flour
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt

1.Cream shortening , sugar and eggs together.
2.Stir in flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt --
3.Chill dough throughly and roll into balls about the size of walnuts, Dip into mixture of 3 tsp of sugar and 3 Tbsp of cinnamon. Place balls on ungreased cookie sheet, do not press will flatten out as they bake.
4.Bake at 350F for 8-10 minute.

SNICKERDOODLE COOKIES
Dough:
½ cup each butter and shortening (or marg), at room temperature
1 ½ cups sugar
2 eggs
1 ½ teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
Beat butter, shortening, sugar and eggs together until creamy. Add cream of tartar, baking soda and salt, then blend. Add flour and mix well. Chilling overnight is preferred; otherwise at least two hours
Topping:
3 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Combine topping ingredients in small, shallow bowl. After chilling, shape dough into balls about 1 ½ inches in diameter. Drop dough balls into topping mixture and coat entire surface well. Place on ungreased baking sheets about 2 inches apart.
Bake in a 375°F degree oven for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand one minute and remove to cooling racks.
Makes about 3 dozen cookies.

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles
Original recipe yield: 4 dozen
INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups white sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons white sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Cream together butter, shortening, 1 1/2 cups sugar, the eggs and the vanilla. Blend in the flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt. Shape dough by rounded spoonfuls into balls.
Mix the 2 tablespoons sugar and the cinnamon. Roll balls of dough in mixture. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes, or until set but not too hard. Remove immediately from baking sheets.
Ultimate Maple Snickerdoodles
These are chewy mapley good!" Original recipe yield: 3 dozen
INGREDIENTS
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 cup margarine, softened
1 cup white sugar
3 tablespoons real maple syrup
1 egg
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 cup maple sugar
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Stir together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together the margarine and 1 cup of white sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and maple syrup. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients until just mixed. In a small dish, mix together the remaining 1/2 cup white sugar and the maple sugar. Roll dough into 1 inch balls, and roll the balls in the sugar mixture. Place cookies 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Cookies will be crackly on top and look wet in the middle. Remove from cookie sheets to cool on wire racks.
Snickerdoodle Mix in a Jar
Original recipe yield: 3 dozen
INGREDIENTS
2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 1/2 cups white sugar
DIRECTIONS
In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, baking soda, cream of tartar, and sugar. Stir with a whisk, then place into a one quart canning jar.
Attach a tag with the following recipe to the jar: Snickerdoodles 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). 2. In a large bowl, cream 1 cup of butter and 2 eggs. Pour in the snickerdoodle mix, and stir until a dough forms. In a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup of sugar and 1 tablespoon of cinnamon. Roll the dough into 1 inch balls, roll the balls in the cinnamon-sugar mixture, and place 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. 3. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven. Cookies should be light brown. Cool on wire racks

i'm continuously in challenge for flirting because of fact I dont understand i'm doing it. i imagine of i'm being pleasant yet my significant other and all my associates say I come for the era of as Flirty. does no longer do any harm although, so i'd say good element.
