I have been and known this girl for 3 years now, going on 4. I have dated her in the past and have grown a lot of feelings for her. I love her and I know she loves me too, but it is hard to tell how her feelings are guiding her. I do not want to get hurt anymore and I know she doesn't either. Her and I have had some up and downs but it is what has kept us together. I really love her but I feel like I can't show my emotions for her because she tells me not to say those things and I just want to shake her and just tell her that I love her.

Then shake her and tell her that you love her. For whatever reason, she's afraid.... and you need to be compassionate about that but be consistent at the same time. Real love....as strong as what you describe, is something you only find once. Don't let it go without a fight.

Dude I know exactly what u are going thru. I had a girl that I was madly in love with. I broke up with her because i wasnt sure about whether or not she needed me in her life due to issues she had. I love her to death but I thought i had to let her go because she changed so much around me. I thought if I didnt let her go she would start to hate me. But as it turns out she is so hurt at me for leaving she cant gather herself to love me agian. So if you want any future with her you should hang on to her. Dont walk out because what you have now is definately better than what you will get.

Get her chocolates. Tel her as many times as u can that u love her but dont make it like ur desperate!! Talk about past relationships where u got hurt really badly. Then ask her her past experiences and assure her that u would neva do that to her. Hugs are always the best.

if you guys are really in love than i dont understand why she doesnt want to hear how you feel for her. i think you sound like a really nice guy and i cannot imagine why any girl in their right mind would not want to hear how much a guy cares for her unless she doesnt feel the same way

shes probably scared and is afraid that you might not mean it. but the thing u need to do it sit her down..and tell her you love her...tell her why...(not things like looks or whatever) but stuff like...you know..she brightens up a room when she walks into it..itll work out.dont let it go yet..=]
