and is it medically safe to do so? I haven't removed any lint or anything in years from my bellybutton and its starting to build up

wow, bold question lol. But here goes.

scoop that stuff out with any means necessary (finger, tweasers). Make sure it all gets out of there.

Now lay on your back, take a q tip and soak it with rubbing alcohol and get in there and clean it. Then scrape your finger through there to get everything out. Now swab with a new q tip with alcohol. Now just float some alcohol in there, let it sit for a little while, and drain. Now just run a dry q-tip through there.

Alchohol and a Q-Tip, dip the tip of the Q-tip in rubbing Alchohol and go to town...Fingernail Polish remover works great as well.

Good gods! just pick it out with your finger - I've used that approach for decades...

What I've always wondered is why its always blue... doesn't matter what pants or shirt I wear...

Oh - and if you don't clean it - it gets stinky! Had an ex who complained about her smelly tummy button... ack.

With a belly button cleaner of coarse, it looks like the thing you clean the toilet with only smaller...

i think that the best way to do it is with a damp q-tip or just a washcloth(its harder this way) but im no professional, it works well for me
