They will say something to the effect of "Wait until you see the rath filled god", for a bad deed (or bad in the eyes of a christian), when they usually say that god is all loving and forgiving and understanding? As well that Satan is the one to punish you?

I'm "confused". . .

Ahh, I didn't say anything about the bible. I know what the bible says, I am merely pointing out mass ignorance on people's own religions. Don't be so quick to assume that I don't know what I am talking about. Remember the "confused"?

God does harbor wrath against sin but it is VERY unchristian to wish this on anyone. We are to be loving, compassionate and patient with others as God is with us.

Blessed be

Read the Bible and you won't be confused. So many people ask these types of questions and you are going to be more confused than ever. If you want to know why some refer to God as a rath filled God and on the other hand a loving and forgiving God read what He has to say about Himself.

It says this a lot in the Bible I'm pretty sure. It says that our God is loving, but just. People WILL feel the wrath of God (Well, there are different theories, but one is that the Christians will all be raptured first, and the rest of the non-Christians who HAVEN'T accepted Christ will face God's wrath.) I can't speak for God that well, but we as a humanity, I think, deserve God's wrath. How could you possibly say that we don't deserve a good kick in the ***?

You cannot serve two masters. Either you serve the World and Satan or you serve God.God is all loving, and forgiving to those that ask for his mercy. But for those that live without Christ, and do things on their own, they will face a wrath filled God, who hates sin, and will punish them for a infinite amount of time. Satan punished on Earth, God punishes after this life.

I wouldn't blame you for your confusion. A religion created by God would not confuse anybody. However, Christianity is very confusing and contradictory due to the fact that it is a flawed, man-made bunch of baloney. In fact, all religions are man-made...therefore imperfect and just plain nonsense. I believe that we were created by an unknown being that we call God.

Im going to straigten this out for you straigt away ki ki. The BIble says there will be a day of Judgement and you will stand before a Holy God who has seen every thought word and deed. Lets look at a few questions to see How you will do on the day of Judgement..................

Have you ever told a lie?
Have you ever stolen something?
Have you ever looked with Lust? (adultery of the heart)
Have you ever used Gods name in vain? (blasphemy)
Okay ki ki, If you have said yes to these three questions, by your own admission your a lying htieving blasphemous adulterer at heart, and thats How God sees you and you have to face him on the day of Judgement. The BIble makes it clear that God has seen every thought word and deed, every secret sin done in darkness. The BIble says God is Loving, but is also Just and Holy, therofre if you stand before God Today, the Bible makes it very clear you will end up in Hell. But heres the good news, this is where Gods Love is demonstrated. The BIble says God demonstrated his ove for us in that while we were yet sinnning, christ died for us. In other owrds, God loved you so Much he died for you despite the fact you have rebelled against him, lying and blaspheming. and Ki Ki, If you will repent (turn from sin) and trust in jesus, God will forgive you and grant you the gift of everlasting life. Gods Love and his mercy Go hand in Hand.
God Bless

Around John 3:18 we read that Jesus did not come into the world to condem people but to save them. While God does have wrath, and there is final judgement, it is ot for any of us to say "you're going to get it". Some of my fellow Christian's remarks, I find, are equivalent to: "Go to Hell" and their mouths should be washed out with soap.

Dear Kiki-la,

One thing i want to remind you of is that not everyone on this site who says they are Christian are. For example today i've seen two postings with pornographic images with titles like: Jesus is King, etc. Obviously these two individuals are not acting in a way that is Christ-like.

God's word tells believers: Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time. Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.

Please understand that God's heart is that no one will have to be punished for sin- this is why God allowed His one and only Son Jesus to be punished upon the cross.

God does have to punish sin, but he takes no delight in it.

I'm sorry for your confusion and for those who have misrepresented Christ and added to your confusion. Feel free to email me with any questions you have about Christianity and i will do my best to give you a clear and Bible-based answer.

The Bible also has much to say about those who claim to know Christ but mislead people. Not everyone is what they say- you've to judge their words and actions to determine the sincerity of their faith. We may sometimes be fooled, but God is not fooled and those who claim Christ but do not live for Him will have to give an account to God one day.

Hope that helps. Kindly,

Nickster

i really like your question. i want to sum up a few things . .. .

Whether you believe in God or not, he gave you a conscience. con means with. science means knowledge. with knowledge, every time you break Gods law (sin) , your conscience shouts out at you. the bible says that every man will be accountable to God for every thought, word, and deed. you're held accountable b/c you know the difference between right and wrong. look at ten commandments. have you kept them? if not, then you've sinned against an infinite God and you deserve an infinite punishment. God is forgiving, but he's also just. and b/c He's just he'll see to it that justice will be served. we all deserve eternity in hell. but 2 Peter 3:9 says God isn't willing that any should perish but that all come to repentance. God doesn't want to send anyone to hell! but b/c of his goodness, he must see to it that justice is served. satan doesn't run hell. God does. its a fearful thing to fall into the hands of a living God. now is God loving? of course. he provided a way for us to be forgiven buy pouring his wrath on Christ. Christ bore our sins upon himself and lived a sinless life. he suffered for us. we can't redeem ourselves b/c we're an unworthy sacrifice. to be saved we must do two things. the first thing is to repent. that means to confess your sin to God and to turn from that sin. (sin is breaking the ten commandments 1 John 3:4). the second thing we must do is put our faith in Christ. Believe he died for your sin and that he rose again defeating death and that through him you have eternal life. if you do that you will be saved from the coming wrath. is God loving? yes. is he forgiving? yes, but its a conditional forgiveness. we must repent and put our faith in the only savior Jesus Christ.

Even David, a man after G-d's own heart, begged G-d not to give him over to the judgment of his fellow man.
I know that doesn't answer all of your questions, but maybe it's a step in the right direction (?)
