Many years ago I heard this quote, "Guys offer love in hope of getting sex. Girls offer sex in hope of getting love. Both are cheated."
I guess it is just the nature of some guys. But don't give up. Not all guys are like that. You just need to search a little harder for the good ones, or look in different places.

Oh they do love you, as far as they are capable; that is not the same as the illusions of love created on the movie screen. Love has to be worked at, mature, develop and increase.

A guy will say almost anything to get in a girl's pants. To make sure a guy really means it, you should go out with him for a long time frame and make sure that he is treating you like someone that he does love. I don't just mean taking you out or getting you presents. I mean actually showing concern about your well being and being faithful to you. If he loves you, then when he does say it, he won't pretend like he did not say it.

Not to be mean but they are probably just trying to get into your pants. You should make sure they love you hold off on sex and see if they remeber your bday or your fav. color or little details about yourself that if he just wanted to get into your pants he wouldnt have the patience and would just move on. Well a guy could say he loves you to get underneath your garments if you get my drift.Maybe that line has worked for him before and he wants to see if it'll work again.Of maybe he doesn't want to hurt your feelings but then again it's gonna hurt you in the long run to find out that he said it just to protect your feelings..It can happen but is highly unlikely..

Know that he is using you for something... a guy who does this is a jerk off and not worth your time... once he's got what he's wanted from you he'll say it to let you know that he's done with you... A kick to the nuts works wonders for this problem and then beating the s.h.i.t out of him to let him know that it's not ok to be that selfish...

some guys just want to be with u for a second but when better comes along there no where to be fond. this happened to me but with a girl because I'm a guy. what ever you do dont have sex until your married. be encouraged and ask yourself what would jesus do? your friend,

I'm sorry, but most guys do that to turn you on and keep you there so they can get laid. I don't mean to be crude, but that's how it is. Or you could be totally insane and imagining these conversations. I doubt it though.
