I suggest a professional...you can color it again as soon as you want but here is the tips you need: use a semi or demi permanent color-not permanent. I know it says it will wash out in so many weeks but it won't , not if your going from lighter to darker. the color grabs, and may lighten a little after a few weeks-which may be good because after coloring twice your hair shaft is porous and will suck up the color so you may want it to fade and lighten just a little. If you went to a hairstylist they would use a semi or demi permanent when going darker, every color line tells you the same thing-no need for permanent when going darker, there is too many high levels of peroxide that are unnecessary. semi will do the trick-and keep at lease some of the hairs integrity

Use a demi/semi permanent color-not permanent. If you can find a color depositing such as Redken's line, try that.
And don't pick a color that it too dark. An ddon't leave it on too long. Your hair is very porous right now and will suck up color like a sponge.
When you condition, leave the conditioner in for at least 3 minutes so it can penetrate the hairshaft.

I change my har color all the time and just went from ash blond to red to light blond to ash blonde and now back to deep red all in 3 weeks. I have hair ADD.

10 days so your hair has atleast a little bit of time to recooperate and get back it's natural balance of moisture. Do deep conditioning treatments and stuff before you redye it though so you can restore some of the moisture because the second time you dye it will dry it out a lot more.

You can color it darker at any time. Just keep in mind that maybe you should wait a few days to see if you get used to the new color. Sometimes a drastic change is hard to adapt to. If you decide to color it darker, don't go crazy and color it too dark. Also, use a semi-permanent or low volume peroxide color. The dark color may fade after a few days because of the pre-lightened hair.

I would wait 2 weeks to make sure you don't damage your hair that's just like when you relax it you have to wait 2 weeks to get a dye.

Immediately just remember that your hair will become dry after the second time so put lots of conditioner or a treatment in it.

I do it all the time to my hair, its safe, just make sure you treat your hair afterwards.

they say after one week if you don't want your hair to go dry damaged etc etc. but I had mine re-dyed immediately and nothing really bad happened. just go deep conditioning or something to be sure.

At least one to two weeks so you don't end up with a chemical reaction. otherwise you'll either get a chemical haircut or burn your scalp.
