I know lots! I lived there for 27 of my 28 years. ^_^ What do you want to know??

It's *gorgeous* in the summer, especially July-August. Don't listen to the people who says it's boring! I think most people think that, because there are so many small towns, very spread apart, and likely not much to do there.
There are only two "big" cities, Regina in the south with 180,000 people, and Saskatoon in the centre, with 200,000 people. They are both beautiful (in the summer), with Regina's city-wide Wascana Park, and Saskatoon's river and bridges.
Moose Jaw also has a lot of cool tourist attractions, especially the Spa, and the Tunnels (Al Capone!).

Northern Sask. *rocks*, it has tons of forests and lakes, and lots of fishing. Clean lakes that you can drink right from, too. Gorgeous, gorgeous (in the summer).

Note that I've only ever said Saskatchewan is gorgeous in summer. :) In winter it is bitter and cold and snowey. And bitter and cold. And windy. And icy and cold and bitter.
Dress accordingly.

Hope that helps!

Born and raised here...... and always wanted to leave. Once I did leave, and then I missed it, lol. Now I'm back and I really have grown to love it... except I do admit that I wish I wasn't here at the moment. Every time I step out my front door into knee-high snow and feel the -40C windchill, I wonder what I'm doing here. But in the summer it is beautiful and probably gets hotter than the rest of the country. Take some time to see the northern parts of the province where there are picture perfect lakes, and the western part where there are rolling hills which are very beautiful. It's not all wheat, lol.... though the flat parts of SK are beautiful too because there's nothing to block your view :p lol. If you're expecting tonnes of things to do, like you would find in Vancouver or Toronto, you won't find them in Saskatchewan, but I prefer it's laid-back lifestyle to the business of other major parts of the coutry. Take a visit sometime, and judge for yourself what you think!

I live here. It's very cold right now. We get the most sun per year of any province in Canada. We have some of the most fertile farmland on the planet, although no one can make a living off of it. Saskatchewan is not completely flat, there are hills and forests and lakes... it's just that no one bothers to drive more than 1/2 a mile off the Trans Canada highway to find them. Saskatchewan has some of the richest Uranium, Natural Gas and Oil reserves in North America, they just have not been capitalized on. Tommy Douglas, the father of healthcare, was once premier of Saskatchewan. Prime Minister John Defenbaker has a man-made lake named for him that is dammed by the huge Gardiner Dam... need to know any more?

It's a fine place. Twice, I went away to university, but came back both times -- and am as happy as a clam.
