Give the recruiter his time. It will be his wasted time if you informed him of your situation and that there might be hope for you. Your DD214 has a code on it, did he ask you what the code was? If he did not, I would be suspicious. Its going to be a struggle if at all possible but the recruiter should be aware of the latest regulations regarding "other than Honorable" discharges. What do you have to loose, but do not get your hope up until after the interview. He may think he can get your discharge upgraded if your charges were not serious.

You might be able to go back in if you can pass the physical. That is going to be up to your service. As a service member who has started having Asthma in the last year of my 8 in the Corps, I don't see how you were discharged unless it was very bad. If they do let you back in then you will not have to go back to Basic if you go back in the Army. Other services have their own rules if you try to join them.

It all depends on your re entry code on your DD2-14. If its anything but a 4 you can re enlist but may have to get a civilian medical evaluation to prove you have overcome the issue or are able to control it. and as far as basic you have 3 years from your discharge to re enlist without doing basic again so call your recruiter asap and get the ball rolling.

If you were given a Medical discharge, you would need to pass their physical to be able to reenlist.
Usually basic is not required for a returning Veteran.
If you really want to know, talk to a recruiter.

It depends on your re-enlisment code on your DD214. You need to take a copy of it to which ever branch of the service you are interested in and discuss it with a recruiter. Good luck.

No you cannot.
You are now listed as 'permanently disqualified for military service' for medial reasons.
