If you get chemo-therapy do you lose your pubic hairs?

It depends on the kind of chemo but, yes, some do cause it. That and not having to shave my legs for a while was the greatest thing about chemo....Hubby loved it, lol.

Yes you do! I have ovarian cancer and am currently undergoing chemo.I do not have any hair on my body what so ever. I think it does vary though, depending on the type of drug used, and the type of cancer you have. I think it also depends on the way it is distributed into your body, and how often.Any more questions, just feel free to e-mail me.

depends on the drugs, if you are given adramiacin, you will most likely lose all the hair everywhere, methodextrate will leave hair, but it will thin out. either way it doesn't matter, it will grow back.

yup...I lost hair every where everything grew back but my Arm pit hair
