I want the pictures to fade in and out of each other and for it all to be one gif file so I can easily load it onto a website. Any ideas???

You need a free giff animator, The Gimp has a plug in that will let you do this, or there's Jasc Album. Careful if you google, check out the sites for malware.

paintshop pro will stitch your individual frames together and generate a GIF output. i use an olympus E500, itll give me 3 frames a second at incredible resolution.. video is 640 x 480, and im using 3000x2500..compressed into a gif, i can see the strings on daughters stratocaster resonate as she plays a riff... and ive done the dog shaking after a bath...

load it up one frame at a time...select your transitions and effects and press create GIF...its that easy.

you can put the slides together using powerpoint , you can then control the transitions between slides and control the speed at which they fade. you can also add moving image and audio, again you have control of the transitions. For animation you would need a program like flash presentation, on this u can layer effects and graphics until your hearts content. good luck!

gif animator or download jasc animation shop, you can put a video clip and convert it to a gif animation

or use powerpoint (easier + simpler) and copy+paste the pictures
