my beautiful liver and tan doberman has hypoparathyriodism and is on meds. She also has generalised demodictosis which cant be effectively treated until her immune system is stronger(she looks like the dobes out of resident evil). Her skin has open lesions on it which are healing thanks to a rinse of garlic and lemon extract. Her feet are swollen and her tear duct no longer work properly. She has specially mixed eye drops from the vet(200 dollars every two months). I have maxed out my $5000 credit card at the vet. She is on Incremin as a multivitamin, zinc, echineacia, extra vit c and chondroitin. The vet is suggesting i put her down but i would spend another $5000 if it would get my baby girl better. She is a happy dog and isnt in any pain for those who would suggest i am cruel for keeping her alive. Help, i am desparate to get her better than what she is.

Well, my immune system is pathetic, so may I offer you some tips. Keep your hands away from your face at all times. Wash your hands often. If you don't have pets, you can use purell on your hands. If you do, you must wash it off your hands before you touch them. Gargle with warm salt water. And think a healthy thought! Good luck.

Sorry to hear about all the problems she is having. If you go to http://www.mc2blog.com/herbal-remedies-pets/tf-defense-lyme-disease-infectious-tick-bourne-illness-dogs.htm There are many herbal products that you can order and you can return what you don't like. Just find the ailment and click on it and then it will tell you what herbal products are available to treat it. You don't have to buy the product but you can look at the ingredients and make it yourself if you choose.

I am so sorry to hear about your dog. I don't really have an answer for you,but I hope you find what your dog needs real soon. Your dog will be in my prayers. Don't give up. You ARE NOT cruel for doing all that you can for your beloved Dobie.
