I think it's possible that's why I never lied or presented myself differently from what the true me is. Coz maybe, just maybe...someone will get very fond of me. So, what they see is what they get.

Communication is a very powerful tool to express oneself. We may get so attached to that person on the other side of the screen because of the way she talks and asserts herself. All I have to say to you is to keep your feet on the ground. Don't let any flattery rule over your common sense and sensibility. But also, don't judge her and be overly cautious. As long as you are having fun with her then go on with it. Don't hold your breath for her coz I don't think she will like that. Live your life as it is when she wasn't there yet then try to see if the two of you can meet.

It is important to see her in person in order to evaluate your feelings for her. Being with that person in real will make all the difference. At least you never have to dream of her anymore...you will see and get to know her better.

Who knows your love story might be a success too. Good luck!

Yes of course you can....and im tired of people on here saying its not possible. I fell in love on the internet 2 yrs ago...and we have been living together since then. So yes its possible to love someone over the net,,,but make sure you really know all you can about that person. It was the best thing that ever happened to me,,,i met my MR RIGHT. from the internet. So i hope things work out with you if you have met someone that you really like.

People can fall in love with an image or a character portrayed on a television show so falling in love with someone you've only met on the internet is not only possible but common. However its not wise and while it may work out in a few cases that dating websites etc flog to death on their welcome pages in the majority of cases you'd be better off walking into a bar and talking to someone in the flesh.

Does she know you are in love with her? Because I dont know any woman who doesnt want what you are offering, is she involved with someone else. If she can only give you her friendhsip, then accept it, and go from there. She will probably be the best of best friend's to you. Maybe in time she will see you differently. The reality of it is if you are going to the army in a couple of months, you arent even in a position to be with her right now. You should let her know your feelings are true and just keep in touch with her and communicate with her while you are gone. I promise she will see you other than her friend, eventually.

I dont believe so - why because communication is morecomplex than just verbal or writing why because there are lots of non verbal cues that people conciously and unconciously pick up on and use and when there is only one forum such as writing then it amkes it very difficult. its like saying can you fall in love with an actor? John Wayne was great on the screen sadly he was like the rest of us with diversity and flaws. Writers throuhghout history write some beautiful books and you could very well fall in love with them by reading jsut one page but sadly like the rest of us they too have flaws and are diverse.

my boyfriend and i met on the internet. there was chemistry before we met, while we were just talking on the phone. we talked on the internet for about....6 months, phone for about...6 months, met, started dating, we've been together for almost 4 years.

So to answer your question, i do think that you could be FALLING in love, but your not completely in love yet, its impossible to be until youve met.

it depends on how you met her and what she is.

if you met her through dating sites and she is a single woman in your local area, that's just great. go for it.
however, if you just met her in a chatroom or game room, and she is someone from a different coutry or just lives far away from you, it's not a good sign.

remember ppl lie all the time on the net.
they are rarely the same in real life.
they show you things which they want you to see so just because she seems one way on the net doesn't mean she is that way in real life.
have you seen her on webcam? have you talked to her on mic?

are you really sure she is really female?
are you really sure how old she really is?

just be very careful and do not give her your address or phone number until you meet her in person.
when you meet her, meet her in public.
good luck!

i love pretty much everyone i know. it's not a bad way to live.

there's nothing about pure internet communication that would stop you from assessing whether someone presents themselves as kind, funny, considerate, intelligent etcetera...

if you meet them in person, it's equally possible for them to present a face that turns out not to be the truth and you would feel equally disappointed if you'd met them on the internet or in a market.

it depends on the kind of person you are. to me love is all the good things that someone would expect to have from you as a human being... faith, trust, loyalty, friendship blah, blah, blah...
i always offer all those things at the onset and then i'll modify my tolerance of each of those things as and when they prove themselves.

i love pretty much everyone i know. it's quite a decent way to live.

it depends on how long you have talked to her, usually on the internet with long term talking you become best friends, and then yes you can fall in love some says you can;t but i talked to a guy on the net for a year and have moved to where he is at and we have been together for two years now and we are still together so on the net anything can happen
