I think Christ meant everything He said. The fact that we don't listen...now there's the problem.
What if we LISTENED to everything Jesus said?

Well he did actually mean it, he wanted us to show that kind of love, toward one another, as humans, if everyone did, actually do, these things, there truly would be, a very different state in the world today than there actually is today, and in all respects, there would not be any hypocrisy but love for fellow humanity, Of course this cannot happen while men rule themselves in corruption, But he true God Jehovah will bring such conditions about, in the earth, were there will be no more corruption or hypocrisy. Only Jehovah can accomplish this, men with good intentions have been trying to do so, for many centuries, but, have not been able to, they have not been able to achieve these things! This only shows the Bible is right when it says....It does not belong to man who is walking even to direct his step(Jeremiah10:23) because we today can see, where mankind's steps have taken us, we can see all the mayhem in this world around usproves the Bible as truth!

The interpretation you put on this is way unbalanced to my mind.
There is no value in continous unreasoned self sacrifice. You sacrifice for others because you care, you wish to and it's in your heart-AND NOT DRIVEN BY ANY GUILT/dogma/tradition. A certain amount of self sacrifice may be part of a whole balanced experience of life. You cannot put others before yourself all the time. If you did that, many would take forever. You would have nothing, except maybe a bitter false martyrdom of the spirit. There are times and places for self sacrifice and not.

I'm pretty sure he meant whatever he said - except when he lied. Did he actually say not to invite friends to parties? Seems like you could invite some strangers (even poor ones) to parties but a party of exclusively poor strangers would be awkward. Might as well just call it a soup kitchen (which would be perfectly noble - even if Jesus didn't say it). Other people have suggested that happiness can be found in seeking to please others rather than obsessing on one's own happiness. It's only a Christian notion to the extent that you study only the one religion.
Christians only seem and are hypocritical when they offer unsolicited advice on how to live one's life.

Christians always seem hypocritical because they aren't perfect and the one they believe in is ....so like Paul said ...i do the very thing i wish not to do.(SIN)....therein lies the problem....we should strive to be more Christ like ....and yet we aren't like Christ, who was perfect.
Also i think higher standards are applied to Christians by both others and ourselves,,,, sometimes it helps to remember Jesus was perfect and yet he drove the money changers from the temple with a whip he made from a rope, he also chastised people for their ignorance and told people they were serving their father the devil .when they thought they were being holy and righteous.
To me it's kinda funny that people who aren't Christians think we should act a certain way ...maybe to a standard that they perceive as Christ like and yet exclude themselves from the same standard.
it's a misunderstanding of who Christ is (works mentality-earning your way into heaven->by being good enough)and trying to justify their own actions by judging yours.

It's a matter of obedience to what The Lord said. Are saints ready to be the foot washers and slaves to everyone else? Or as Americans who are safe hiding behind the skirt of freedom and protected by man made law; are we too soft and comfortable?
God, I pray you send a great tribulation upon this land! May your saints be tested by fire to make them ready for your return or our death whichever comes first.

You just turned that parable around.
It means ;that Jesus called the Jewish people. To save Them. They rejected him.So he turn his gift of salvation to the gentiles.(we where the dogs that eat crumbs at the masters table)
And every word in the Bible is real, truth, and what Jesus ment.
We Christians know that we are here to serve.

Well if you are saying that Christians are not as "great" as Christ, I wouldn't hesitate to agree with you. Thats why I am not a Christianian, but a Christian.

He meant every word He said. There are people who strive to live according to His words but they aren't on TV and they are very low profile.

Yes, if you read the Bible, even just the "red" words, it's pretty tough to be a good Christian. Thank God for forgiveness, huh?
