Theists, who depend, without any evidence whatever, on living forever in eternal happiness?
Or atheists, who know that when it's all over the lights go out, and good night?

Whoa, and we even have a Pascal's Wager! Thank you, I thought there was no-one left who didn't know to avoid that.

Well atheists don't think there will be anything after death so they shouldn't be afraid to die..I am not sure about what a Theists is........I am a Christian and I know where I am going after I die. So I am not afraid. I think that the people who believe that their is still time and live for today but at some time went to church as a child
and don't know for sure are the most afraid to die because they know they aren't right with the Lord but still want to have their "fun" and don't live a christian lifestyle.

It's a individual thing. Of the people I've known in life, it was the most devote Christians that feared the pains of hell. It doesn't matter what you believe. If you profess to know for a fact, one way or the other, you would all have something in common. And that would be that you're all full of it.

If I were and atheist I would do every single thing in life I could. I would get the most ladies I could and prob do crimes that are vigorating, since after you die thats it. But since I'm Christian I know that when I die thats how it was supposed to happen so I'm not worried about death since it couldn't happen any other way.

the people that believe God is intent on punishing them after death I suppose because they are always going on about who gets into heaven and whos going to hell obviously its a factor that plays on their minds to a great degree ,
Personally not scared of death have nearly died 3 times in my 25 years so it doesn't phase me one way or the other, I'm a theist of the thelmic variety so I take the hemetic view of death which is simailar to the hindu theory of re-incarnation but doesn't accept that we incarante as anything but humans ( well to put it in a few words anyway)

I am a Christian and I do not fear death for I know who holds tomorrow in His hands. God allowed His Son, Jesus Christ to die for our sins so that we Christians can have eternal life with Him. I placed my trust in Jesus Christ and His salvation in 1973, and I know that I will go to Heaven when I die. Because of that assurance, I do not fear death. God will take me in His time frame, but until then, I will live for Him.
Atheists on the otherhand have nothing to look forward to - no life after death, so why would they not fear death? It will be (for them) the end of their life. What they are missing is the fact that the spirit lives on, and they will face eternal damnation in Hell - that would bring them even more fear if they believed that.
Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess the name of Jesus! God bless you, and I hope that you accept Jesus as your personal Saviour before it is eternally too late.

Theists, their even afraid to admit they die. An atheist knows there's nothing after death so she has nothing to fear.

Everyone's afraid of death, and I don't think any particular group of people are more afraid than others.
Atheist believe that there's is nothing more once life ends.
Christians never trully know if its Heavan or Hell for them.

Neither...The most one afraid of death is Satan the Devil. Right now like a cornered wild animal is out there in the world messing it up taking as much of humans with him as possible. 1 Peter 5: 8.
Are you ready>
Peace....

If I believed in hell I was be terrified of dying. You never know what a God sadistic enough to torture his creation forever just for using the free will HE said gave us would do to you, no matter if you followed his rules or not.
