If you ask the "alternative medicine" crowd they'll swear yes but in reality unless you are suffering from some kind of severe depletion of a particular vitamin then the answer is no. Simple relaxation techniques, changing you personal schedule and excercise are the best way to deal with it without the need for meds.
If its REALLY bad a trip to the Xanax factory can always be arraigned ;)

if u are down and depress, vitamins will give u the stamina and energy to keep u alive. but as for mental stress in general, vitamins wont do the job. try pills if u are old enough, DO not take anything to harm ur health!!!

bypass out ON my decrease back patio, have a smoke, and study a financial ruin or 2 of my cutting-edge widespread sci-fi / delusion novels. Or wait until eventually my spouse and son bypass to mattress, then sit down up for a pair hours and play video games. the superb thank you to handle rigidity is to do something which you get excitement from or relaxes you - no rely what it particularly is. And if somebody bugs you in case you're relaxing, tell them to bypass away, you're de-stressing, yet whilst they persist, then you definitely would could come across a clean spot the place no person will worry you for as long because it takes to do away with the stress.

Sure they can help. The B vitamins, C, E. Are all good to take period. Exercise is good too. It really is a system of nutrition, physical exercise and how you cope. Coping skills are just as important. Learn relaxation techniques...get some good hobbies. Talk to someone...that can make a world of difference.

keeping in mind that you are asking about mental health and not physical health... you need to start thinking less in terms of a low vitamin c level and more about a possible chemical or hormonal imbalance. if you are just feeling down today and but its not really a regular thing...or it doesn't effect your daily activities...then maybe adjusting your diet can help. petlover gave the example of the alcoholics...but they are given b-vitamins to help the PHYSICAL side of alcoholism. if your mood is affect your personality and your daily habits/life then you need to talk to a professional and let them tell you what your options are. otherwise all vitamins can do for you is give you really expensive pee. also if you are on ANY other types of medication things like st. johns wort and potassium can really give you harm-full side effects. it is possible to dye from a potassium overdose. i would go to your family doc and tell him about the vitamins you are planning on taking before you start self-medicating. i hope you find peace and balance in your life.

absolutely especially the b complex taken with food. In alot of hospitals for alcohol treatment that is the first thing they give you are b vitamins because alcohol consumption depletes your body of all the b vitamins. some people take b vitamins to get rid of a hang over . it works. try them

Fish oil or omega 3 fatty acids have strong evidence for mood stabilization. I suggest a good multivitamin and high quality fish oil for patients with mild mood symptoms who want to try an alternative approach. Severe symptoms probably will require something stronger
