No it's not logical, it's hypocritical of the entire point of any religion which is to teach love and acceptance. If God can't love and accept you, then the religion is meaningless. Only someone who is insane and commits crimes is born into sin.. why would anyone compare themselves to this?

It makes no sense to believe in original sin. If you are a glutton for punishment and you have low self esteem, then you might buy into this idea. You are powerless to the clergy because of ideas like these and that is exactly where they want you.

NO

Because I don't believe the bible or the people defending it, yes most people are in hopes they will go to heaven, I wish I could open their eyes to all the lies and why they use this book against us. Had Jesus been half the person described in the bible we would be free, but as sad as it is, he not coming back to take us to heaven.
The logic in original sin is for the vast majority to feel guilty of simple everyday life so they will repent for thing they never did and be fearful of something that does not exist/

Yes. God allowed temptation as a means to test mankind. I mean it makes sense since it proves a genuine love if we choice to obey. However because Adam's disobedience, the flesh became evil, and it passed through the generations. The only way to correct it is by having someone come of a different nature, who was perfect therefore we could take on the new spirit, and become free through him.

If you consider that sin enters the world and is contaminating then you see we have original sin none the less no man is without sin therefore we are predisposed to sin though sin may well be our own. The argument is moot because no man is without sin and that is of our own accord.

Yes, I believe it explains in an acceptable fashion why regular people are all flawed. I believe it is necessary to invoke a supernatural reason for human tendency to commit faults because it seems that nature through evolution would tend to eliminate these faults with progressive generations of mankind.

No logic to it. It's what religion uses to control people. You know the story. God is love, and your no good, because you where born into sin. That's why Jesus came. And without priestly absolution, you'll burn in hell forever. Bullsh*t.

Yes I believe in it. Once Adam & Eve ate the forbidden fruit, they became knowledgeable of all Earthly ways. Therefore they were cast out of paradise. Every decendent of them has the ability of "being their own God" (a lie per satan). Thus the origional sin.

I believe every one is born in to sin but when somebody "eats forbidden fruit" I don't think hey that's original sin.

I believe every one is born in to sin, because our spirit is dead to God, and we have to choose a relationship with God.

I do not! Bible puts Eve at fault for the apple fiasco, and basically because of her everyone is a sinner! How could someone else be at fault when they played no role in it? I like apples but don't blame me for it hehe! So yea I think it is kinda illogical.
