Well for me its when I start having bad feeling about him. When I do not feel good about myself when around him. When I think evil thoughts of him. Now on the other hand when I think good thoughts of him and am always thinking of him and can't wait to see him, then I will keep him. Hope this helps.
I think you have deeper issues not addressed here and so go with your gut and trust your heart.

NOW, when yu have doubts IS THE TIME, before you waste any more. If you feel like giving up, it just cannot be the 'right' one for either of you.
