I too am a chronic procrastinator, and like you, a straight-A student (even through graduate school :) but I do have a story that may scare you a bit. It's the only F I ever got in a total of 20 years of school! I was in 6th grade and lived in a rural community, in a house in the woods. Our assignment was to do a leaf collection with 50 pressed and mounted leaves, scientifically named and categorized. I knew the names of most trees in the area, and was fairly interested in botany, but could care less about doing the project, so I set it aside. On the night before it was due, I wandered through the woods, carelessly plucking leaves, and stacked them into a large encyclopedia to dry a bit. I managed to find 40 different leaves, but they didn't have time to press, so I ironed them (BIG mistake) then ended up gluing them onto typing paper, and writing the scientific names with a marker, and putting them in a folder. It was awful, and I knew it. Other students (like C students!!!) brought in beautiful keepsake-type albums...I sneaked up and slid mine on the bottom. The next day the teacher talked about the projects, and held up mine as a NON-example. I'm sure I was scarlet but no one guessed that shabby work was mine!!! The teacher looked at me with a you-ought-to-be-ashamed-of-yourself stare and my heart sank to the floor. I will never forget that blazing red F on the paper. It was horrible! I never let that happen again!!! Good luck and get it done!!!! :)

The payoff to procure for procrastinating is maximum in all likelihood the reason you eventually end up repeating the trend. Procrastinators positioned off projects until eventually the very very last accessible second because, at that l a s t second, there's a burst of power from adrenaline and neurotransmitters released depending on the acute rigidity the mind is less than. Procrastinators get a organic intense, a organic euphoria, through waiting until eventually there's no better time to watch for winding up the job, if he/she should be triumphant. Many procrastinators are universal for putting forward, "I do my best artwork less than pressure." that is truly no longer the actuality, despite the indisputable fact that it justifies the waiting as a worth reason. the actual undeniable actuality that you're feeling so drained and can want to fairly no longer do the artwork directly is yet another component. if you're drained each and every of the time, it will be that you unknowingly look ahead to the frenzy on the most suitable minute because you want a boost out of the common on a daily basis fatigue. i have discovered the puzzling way that early and secure preparation truly prevents the on a daily basis fatigue to three quantity....i'm getting a "2d wind," a sparkling burst of power because i'm tackling something that is puzzling and that i recognize i'll triumph over the job. Now THAT brings an pretty sturdy feeling....and it really is plenty better ideal than the most suitable-minute less than pressure-out power raise and next power crash. (ok, Saccade, be effective!) Consistency is what your body needs, what your mind needs, and what you as someone favor to discover get away from the ever-latest psychological fatigue.

Add as many fillers as possible, while keeping the meaningfull information. 3 Minutes actually isn't very long if you time yourself during a practice. I, too am an honor student (A honor roll), and you have to practice this stuff. It wont kill you!
