We love to be flattered in ANY language! I find it quite impressive for a guy whose first language it's not (in this case) Spanish to try to level with the girl and actually "try" to communicate in her own language. A lot of Hispanic women do tend to take it a bit slower when it comes to dating, because that's how most are raised but they are great fun and very respectful. They do not need to be treated like a china plate or be carried on a golden platter but just like any other girl they like to be treated with respect. So don't worry if you don't know what the hell you are saying, if she is sensitive and receptive enough she'll understand that Spanish is not your language and if she is kind enough, she'll teach you.




P.S.: What a better excuse to hang out with her than to have her teach you!

Culturally, keep in mind that most Hispanic women's culture is far more traditional, and your statements could be taken wrong. More traditional cultures require some sort of courtship ritual in which a woman can get to know and feel comfortable with a man. Without the ritual, your compliments could be taken as a "come-on."

Hispanic women are great fun. But there are certain patient steps you should take. Hispanic women, more than other cultures, really want to be considered as princesses, and a quick move could be interpreted as if you considered them less than respectable women. Patience and etiquette are your best friends.

Some hispanic girls only like hispanic guys and some hispanic girls like other guys. It depends. But sure, if you like the girl just tell her. They may think it's "hott" or something if you say you like them in Spanish. Or maybe they'll be offended. Who knows until you try..

no! especially if they speak English. be your self if she doesn't speak very good English than Spanish would be nice.
