Do a google search for home brewing supplies in your area. There are home brewing suppliers all over. Supermarkets don't carry malt extract in any quantity or price to be worth using for brewing...you need quantitites on the order of pounds (8-12 lbs per 5 gallon batch). Besides, you're going to need other ingredients that you can't find in any quantity at the grocery store...brewing yeast, hops, sanitizers, etc.

Ordering online isn't all that bad...a really good source is http://morebeer.com

The only place to get brewing supplies is at a home brew shop, check your phone book.Unless you happen to live in or near a large city there is not much Chance of finding one because they are kind of rare. I have seen those Mr beer kits sold at a few places other than that I have never seen extract at any other store. Before they opened a brew shop where I live I use to order from more beer. They have the best prices I have seen and shipping is free on $50 and up orders. Good luck

In my opinion, the best place to buy malt extract and home brewing supplies is via Midwest Supplies (www.midwestsupplies.com). I've been shopping here for years and believe they have the best variety and prices around. They have a lot of all-inclusive kits that I would recommend if you are just getting into brewing.
