Believing in something is better then believing in nothing. also when people tell me that the world and all its wanders occured due to evolution I get people to pick anything from a plant to the body to a puppy and I will talk about all the inticacies and I truly believe that a lot of thought went into that one creation. So yes I believe in God or Gods and all cultures throughout the world do - so what does that tell ya?

Also not all cultures throughout the world believe in Father Christmas so what does that tell ya?

Also everybody has had a spiritual experience - and they may not even have been aware of it but I think that we do. Yes God or Gods exist and there is a here after of some kind and there is a hell of a lot more to this world then the scientists know or have discovered. In fact its so complicated and complex scientists and modern medicine are just breaking the service - what does that tell ya?

Lots

God bless

Not at all.
Believing in God as portrayed by the popular religions is to believe something/someone who will let a few people out of the total have a lovely eternity, and in many versions a hell of a lot of people suffer eternally.

Believing in Father Christmas, is to believe this wonderful old man who travels the world giving presents to everyone, unless you've been very very naughty, and even then you can get presents the following year, if you are good. Father Christmas doesn't make most people suffer, nor punishes people even for a lifetime.

Of course we can have our own view of a God, whatever it is which enables anything to be, such as time, luck,or whatever one imagines, which doesn't do these selfish things.

Belief in god is always dressed up in dogma, ritual, and other trappings. But essentially, Father Christmas is just as likely to be there to greet you after you die as any god. And whe you are 5 years old, Santa is great fun. Unfortunately, at about age 9 or 10, we outgrow the silliness that is Santa, but we get even more involved in the god rubbish

How dare these people who are answering, say that Father Christmas does not exist?

Have they no respect for people like me with different believes?

I still hope he brings you presents.

I wonder if you will feel that way when you are on your death bed.

I am not trying to convince you to believe in God. However, the world would be a better place if more people believed in God's message. Religious empires have distracted us from God's message. Now it seems it can only be found in the original Bible text; not the first English translations that were approved by the religious leaders in 1611. (that's another subject)

Just what is God's message as depicted in the original texts of the Bible?

Harmony is harmony.

Disharmony is the only sin against God.

It's as simple as that.

If you get it, then after your stay on Earth, you will be reconstructed and allowed eternal life on Planet H, a place of harmony-loving folks.

If you choose disharmony while on this Earth, you will be sent to Planet HD, not for punishment purposes, but as a quarantine away from the harmony-loving folks of Heaven (Planet H).

Not really... when we were little. most of us were told about Santa Clause and most of us believed in him. But at some point, either we caught our parents putting the gifts under the tree or otherwise admitted to actually pretending to be Santa ... Now as far as I know, no one else has taken the credit for creating the universe or even saying "alright, I admit it was me and here is how I did it" Unless you pull in the other gods... Allah, Zeus etc... so the similarities would be more towards THEM than Santa
