I'm not sure what a Shitzu eats, but a Shih Tzu eats dog food, trash, birds, or anything else that it feels like.
If you are looking at getting a Shih-Tzu, it might be time to do al ittle more research. I'll give you a few links to help you out. : )

About anything they can get if it has a good taste but you should get it a good brand of dog food if you want to keep it healthy..

my shihtuz eats about anything from dog food to pens. He loves beneful and it depends on how old your dog is and what size it is! Keep me posted!!!!!!!!!!!
