Christmas may be a time of giving for some people, but ultimately giving should be done all year round. Not just because of a seasonal holiday.
I dont give because of Christmas, but i do give money to charities year round. I also donate blood and am a bone marrow donor. I give my clothes away when i no longer need them and give food perishables as well.

I always participate in our local food, clothing, and toy drives. My husband and I also sent care packages to our troops. I sent some stuff to an out-of-state gift drive this year. And I have a bunch of clothing I'm taking to the battered women's shelter this weekend. I'm also the head of my temple's charitable events committee, and we're currently raising money for Disabled American Veterans and getting people to cut their hair for Locks of Love. I do this sort of thing year round though.
I'm also Pagan and liberal, so those who say only Christian Conservatives give are lying.

I always donated to the community... like the Salvation Army and other random charities. I'm all about making gifts this season. I'm making cupcakes for my friends and making them Christimas cards.

I do Toys for Tots (on of my favorites), canned food drives, help out at the local childrens hospital (Santa and the elves thing), and volunteer for habitat for humanity.

I think that all good christian conservatives should attack and rob the demon-cratic libs that refuse to give to the poor. That money can go to a better use than some save-a-tree-spree.

I adopted a lady at a local nursing home. She doesn't have any family and no one to spend it with.

if you have money give. if you don't have money give some of your time. volunteer.
