Among his non-telephone inventions are the metal detector, photophone, telegraph, phonograph and the audiometer. Of course, he also supported many other fields, such as aeronautics and hydrofoil.

I think he invented some kites. He spent a lot of his time working with the newfangled aviation inventors, but the best thing was to support the start of the National Geographic Society (through his son-in-law, Grosvenor (Gilbert?)).

He didn't actually invent the telephone, he just took the credit for it coz the guy who did invent it died!
