Will remove an item from the shelf (particularly meat items) if another store in the area has a raelly good price for that item?
I once asked a meat dept. worker why they had no T-bones "is it beacuse Keoger has 'em on sale for $ 5.99 per lb.?" He said "yep", they would put them out again after Kroger's sale ends. Trick way not to have to match the price don't you think?

If Walmart wanted to negotiate for lower prices, they could, they just want to make the profit off the items that bring them the biggest profits.

Interesting. i distest WAL-MART anyway. I only shop there if I must. And it is something I need. Wallie-World...is a Coup.
The part I can never figure out besides your wonderful point. Inwhich I have noticed is: Why do they have like 50 cash drawers and only 15 open? They are all on...Costing money in electircity. Tis wierd.
And GRUUURRRR....Why must people write a check in the speed lane?
But your steak thing is wacked....You know they got them in the Back and Wal-HACK says it will beat any price SO: next time call them on the BLUFF...and get those T-bones for 5.25 per LB.
Thanks
Sorry for the Rant

I take it you have never noticed so does Kroger and the other stores in your town.
In Indiana that is Meijers and Scotts.
Even if they do not match the ad price they do not carry much of that meat. As they do not sell much and do not want it to spoil.
but it happens on everything. If a 3 pack of something is on sale you can not find a three pack in a store but they can have a single or a 6 pack.

Sorry...that is completely bull. My ex wife works for wal-mart and I used to work their myself. They do not pull items off shelves because of other stores prices. That it why they have "rollback". They do that when the want to be the price of another store. Stop spreading false propaganda.
While still married...my ex at times was asked to be the person to go to other stores and find out the prices of some of their products so they could match/beat it.

It's not simply Walmart. Lot of other big stores use the same tactics either by limiting the number of products or making completely unavailable.

I also thought it was something serious until I got to the second paragraph. As soon as you wrote 'with their highly defined chest muscles and rock-hard abs'. This joke is HILARIOUS! Nicely done! :-)

Wal Mart must not have been able to negotiate lower prices with the cattle farmers.....and yes, it's a little deceptive.

no. they refreeze it so it don't go bad while everyone is buying Kroeger's T-bones. This way they don't lose sales AND the meat.
