Don't ask him b/c then he's going to take it as if you have been waiting around for him to come back to you. Talk to him, try to act as non chalant as possible, and see what kind of vibe you get from the context of the conversation. You dated him so you know what he's about and will be able to decipher better than anybody what's he's getting at.

just ask him, what would u tell ur friend to do in this situation? know what i mean, so go for it, feel it out, see how he acts n go on that

DON'T MAKE THE FIRST MOVE!Just wait and see what is going to happen.If he askes you-go out.But if he don't -you don't do anything too...
