Christians joined with the world largest corporation, and that is the beginning of your all loving, godly ways?

Christians joined the govenment because it made them exempt from taxes and the govenment joined with christianity because they knew that if people didnt question their religon they would question their government. I know that you guys dont believe in logic but it a court of law that would be considered MOTIVE and purpose for christianity. Do you just ignore that fact that your ancestors where so about money that they murdered and raped millions in the name of god, and these are the people who wrote a book that you base your entire lives on?

It's hard to say no to tax exemption, especially if the LORD isn't providing.

I've always thought it interesting, too (especially when members of the current administration refer to the Religious Right as "nutcases"). How can they support a party on the grounds of "family values", when the same party opposes such things as overtime pay (remember, Bush wanted to abolish it so more people could work more hours). More overtime means less time with families. And remember, "You cannot serve two masters; you cannot serve God and money." I routinely vote against the unholy alliance.

Politics makes for strange bedfellows.

You can not separate values from practice and the making of laws and the governing of the economy. It so happens that many American values are coincident with the values that we are taught in Church, because we are not taught values in school, and the fact is about 85 percent of Academia are liberals. Church has nothing to do with government, the United States is a free society.

You didn't learn a thing in history class when you were in school, did you?

Our nation was based upon Christian Principals- thats why the Speedwell and the Mayflower ships came.

Our nations laws were based upon Roman Government- because when done right, it was the most fair for the people.

Why did you write your questions claifification so hostile and accusing Christians of evil when the bible clearly states that GREED or the "lust of Money" is the root of all evil?

If by saying Christians, you are citing "George Bush" then you are wrongly mistaken.

George Bush is not a Christian. He worships the devil as does any member of the Skull n Bones society.

The fact that christians vote, should tell you how they feel about the alliance. THEY ARE IN FULL AGREEMENT WITH IT. This is a major sin but they refuse to see it.
