i think he would be very sad. It makes me sad to.
that they use sun worship and an evergreen tree from these pagan sunworshipers and the balls and lights from sex worshipers. Then they lie there is no Santa Clause and only God knows if your good or bad. Poor kids don't get nothing and rich kids get all these great gifts and say because your bad. Your not bad your just poor. Why do they do that to little kids that is just mean. Like everything in the world it is all about the money.
But the best gift I ever got didn't include money. This best friend.

Here's the thing - his birthday isn't BEING celebrated. That would be celebrating the anniversary of his actual birth date. And while we don't know exactly when that was, it sure wasn't December 25th.
What's being celebrated at that time is the Christianization of a number of Pagan holidays that were celebrated near or on the Winter Solstice.
You're certainly right that it's not about him.

I depends on how and why the individual is celebrating. Christmas is to celebrate his birth if you are try to take him out of the equation.Big Problem. He gave therefore we give. If you only celebrate to see what you can get I think he has a problem with that also.

Actually, its not Jesus' birthday. Its the god of baals' birthday. Jesus' birthday is actually in October. Possibily on halloween!
Most of the practices during Christmas are pagan practices , taken from various other gods.

I'd be upset if people were more concerned over how many gifts -they- the myself if it was my birthday.
But hey... it's a time where many families and friends get together regardless of religion, just to celebrate good times.
I think any deity would appreciate that.

Sad. After all these years of celebrating it with gifts people have become greedy, demanding more and more presents, yet being cheap wanting to buy as little as possible.

Well if he was the Son of God I think he would be ashamed that its worshiped and not the word of God. If he wasn't the Son of God I think he would be either very embrassed that a religion was formed around him or he be on one huge ego trip.
