Let me try to explain the way this works. You are a three fold being .

1. Spirit the part of you that is connected to God this is the part that will either go to hell or heaven.
2. Soul you emotions, will, intellect or in other words your 5 senses.
3.Body The suit that your spirit lives in.
So instead of judging what we believe and where we give our 10% first try reading .

I'm not a Christian, but I find your reasoning greatly flawed. You first state that pain and emotions are electrical signals, then talk about air rising. Electrical signals are not air, they are energy. We are made up of energy. It's what, in part, many of us refer to as spirit. Energy of any kind is transformed, it doesn't just cease existing. If you are going to use physics to refute Christianity, then at least get it right. Burning in hell is a metaphor. Sometimes people "burn" with shame. They aren't in flames. God represents perfection to many believers and if they can't attain that, their soul is in torment.

First you must have the faith, the substance of things hoped for and the belief in things not seen. Later through alot of understanding. and through the that belief and the followings of a man by the name of Jesus. Christians come to know a world w/o God as a place called hell. Torture takes place not in a realm or place but in the sheer abscence of God. Do they burn freeze or blowup I don't know, but I know I don't want to be anyway where there is no God.

No, most people who think they are christians never learn to study up on the simple facts of the Bible. The scriptures that refers to hell is actually referring to the final death . when God will totally destroy all of satan, his demons, and all those who are not Gods true followers. The catholic church took in the pagan teaching of hell and torture. God is not behind that . Rather it is a demon teaching from other gods! hell in simply put a lake of fire that will totally destroy, burn up to ashes completly.

Question God...
Christians aren't responsible for Scripture.

Your question has a problem: you are asking for the logic about punishment of a soul.
That's something impossible, because the concept is so illogical and irrational

Seems like some fundie has been rattling your chain. Not all christians believe in torture of a soul. Some believe Hell is simply an absence from God.

Right on. I hadn;t even considered the hypocricy of a burning hell when souls are not flesh.

Religion must pass.

Dumbass...........in Christianity, which you should obviously turn to, souls are taken with the body to heaven or hell and you are still a physical form, just not an earthly form.

Hell isn't all that it is cracked up to be; Hell is the absence of God.
