he has been acting weird this week so i told him that i wasnt going to hang out with for a couple days and he opend up and told me what was wrong he said ok i dont mean to be a dick head but your starting to freak me out you keep calling me baby and **** and you dont really know me like that and its not just that your coming on way to strong your not my girlfriend i dont even know you and he said dont get me wrong your hot and cool to hang out with, i told him that all he has to do is tell me im an understanding person. and i am happy being his friend i dont want anything else its just some times he confuses me he kisses me in front of his friends and everything

I think you're right to give the friendship a rest. I think you should go back to him and say you understand he may have been uncomfortable, and why, and that you will be less affectionate in that case, but that he needs to take responsibility for the miscommunication also, and that it sucks to communicate by being mean to people. Then tell him you still want to keep your distance for a week or two.

If he's acting weird on you, then you need to ask him what's wrong, not tell him "out of the blue" you don't wanna hang out with him for a couple days!-then he will get "puzzled" & wonder what's wrong.-that's something you'd tell a "boyfriend"; "I need my space". -anyways If you feel you want some space, then don't call him or see him for a couple days. do you both have to hang out every day? If so, tell him you have things you have to do-maybe another day!-I call & see my friends about once a week or longer & there's nothing wrong with that.-good luck!

He may just be trying to show off in front of his friends and really don't like you as much as you may think he does at times. It looks like he wants the attention and your probably an attractive female and it helps his ego to do these things and know that you may like him too even though he's not ready to be with you fully.

He probably feels you want to be more than friends with just the nicknames u give him. Use his real name it's not that hard when u talk to him and always refer to him that way.

he gonna forgive you. but he is acting like he wants to be involve but yet still doesnt, i think he wants the best of both world. kissing you like your his girl in front of his friends but yet still does want to deal with you actually being his girl. If you only want to be his friend you must make this clear to him.
