Because they can't stand knowing that any woman is as good or better than they are. They find smart women emasculating. They just try to block out the concept entirely. We might be intimidated when guys are smarter than we are, but at least we know how to deal with it.

You date us, you marry us, you sleep with us...I guess we are smarter!!! Only kidding, women are just as smart as men, but society has told you that it's not your place. Many wome have broken through the glass ceilings because they earned it. I no longer think it's about gender, but rather about individual achievement. But just to let you know, all of those Girls Gone Wild Videos, and being all obsessed with celebrities and fashion....well, it's not helping your cause.

Drsteve362005 you must be thinking about your own brain, not a FEMALE'S. Well I have one thing to say to answer this question, it depends. Some dumb *** guy who scratches his *** while watching tv won't be as smart as a female business woman. And vice-versa. If an airheaded girl goes out with an egotistic guy he will think she's not as smart as him...

As it happens, the highest 6 I.Q people in the world are all left hookers, and the highest I.G person is a woman.
Her I.Q is nearly 160. It is also reported that she knows nothing about " real world " life. (cant use a microwave or change a light bulb )

because most women like to spend there time gossipping about things that are unimportant ...shoes, make up( I`m not going to get started here) It`s not that we think you are not smart but it just seems that you waste your smarts on things that don`t matter (to us)

Because women "dumb" themselves down in Highschool math and science to not make us feel inferior, so we'll date them.
Then, when men get married they don't know what they got into.
Not all men underestimate women. I went gay cause women are manipulative and cunningly nasty.
