Earlie today I posted a question, or rather an idea - can someone without a sin be tempted. Almost all answers were the same - Jesus struggled with temptetion but did not give in. I agree 100%. It makes him exactly like other sinful people who resist temptations. If I was born without sin, without any desire for power, money etc - you would not be able to tempt me with neither money, nor power, I would not even have a struggle with it - no sin, no needs, no temptations.

Honestly, that's a really good question. I hadn't thought of that. Call a pastor and see what they have to say.

There is noone in the whole world who is without sin even if they've never commited a sin. You see we were all born with sinful blood from our dads, so that in itself makes us sinners. Even those Jesus was born with sinful flesh He was without sin because He was born from a virgin who had never been touched by a man, he was born from the Holy Spirit of God, no sinful blood. Although this took place that didn't exempt Him or us from being tempted by temptations. By the way you don't teach a child to be bad, but you do have to teach them to be good. That their sinful nature. Can we choose not to sin? Only after we trust Jesus Christ to be our Lord and Saviour, and then we have power over sin, it doesn't have power over us anymore. But until then we are slaves to sin. Remeber there is no one without sin accept Jesus Himself. Read Romans chapter 3:10-18, 1st John 1:5-10, and John 1:12-13. I hope I helped you if not e-mail or IM me and we'll talk some more. No, it doesn't make Him like other ppl. It means that unlike other ppl, He conquered temptation by never giving into it and never sinning. Being tempted doesn't mean we're guilty of sin, bc we haven't given into it yet. You're only guilty of sin if you give in to temptation and sin.

Yes, someone without sin can be tempted, Adam and Eve were tempted, and so was Jesus. Neither of them had sin, the difference is, Jesus didn't give in, so remained perfect.

Jesus came with a purpose. Satan tempted him with shortcuts to accomplish his purpose. (Satan is no fool).
Even though Jesus was without sin, his temptations were very real. He wasn't just like any other sinful man being tempted, because a sinful man being tempted ends up giving in, at least sometimes.

Ok, to the person above me, you need to get a clue cause there are plenty of sins out there. Just look at the opposite of the 10 commandments, and yes, anyone can be tempted but it is up to them to resist it.

First, we know nothing about Jesus, including whether he existed or not. Second, sin is an outdated concept. Instead of being morally lazy by just accepting your spoon-fed worldview, try thinking for yourself. No fixed list of rules is adequate for all situations, and the Bible is a real mixed bag when it comes to good advice.
