How difficult is it for an American to become a citizen in one of these countries? I have a bachelors degree.

I don't believe it's that difficult for you to come here. As long as you've got a decent amount of money and have a degree in a useful field, ie teaching, nursing, engineering etc, then you'll be granted the visa ahead of those from less significant countries and with less money and with no qualifications/skills.

You'd need to marry or get a job in the long run that will support your citizenship. It is harder to become an american citizen, I would hope. It depends more on your individual case than anything else.
