They say Green Tea speeds up calorie burning
including fat calorie burning. Green tea has powerful antioxidants, which also may provide protection against coronary artery disease. So its pretty good for you in general
Good luck hope this helps your question.

The quick answer is: no.

While tea is generally a low-calorie drink (if you don't add sugar and cream), it would only really "work" to help you lose weight if you drank tea INSTEAD of drinking some other, higher-calorie beverage such as Coke, Shakes, etc.

The chemical properties of tea are not quite fully understood, but it doesn't appear that they suppress appetite much more than any other similarly caffeinated beverage.

If you are talking about a dieter's tea, it makes you lose water and fecal matter weight, not actual fat. I wouldn't recommend relying on teas to do the job for you. green tea has been said to speed up your metabolism but other than that, I don't think so.

i hope this helps.

Good luck!

If it did, I'd look anorexic as much as I drink (about a gallon a day). I'm not really overweight, but I'm not losing any, either!

No, but it is a better alternative to drinks like soda which have lots of sugars and calories.
