My job is to protect the rights of others to organize and be heard. My job is NOT to participate in the crap, which most of it is.

No..however I have thought of doing so in support of some causes or protesting another. Many people would think that my job precludes me from doing so, and many would say that police have no "right". But as interpretations of constitutional rights change, many times they change in favor of one persons perceived rights.

Ironically, this also exposes the double standard and dispells the notion that everyone is entitled to free speach except certain persons.

As a result I do think of my rights to assemble peacably and exercise my right to free speach.

Nope, i like my job and i don't want to get fired for participating in such things.

Absolutely and I always will participate in them if I believe in the circumstances.
