do i have rear shocks or rear struts, and is that why the lights are on. i service my engine every 3,000 miles, they tried to clear computer. HELP.

Antilock and trac control use wheel speed sensors for idicacating info to abs module.Shocks or struts have nothing to do with light being on.Only thing to do is to have it scanned by a tech familiar with these systems Co des will indicate what sensor or component is at fault

your struts and shocks willnot make the check engine light come on. that means that something in the engine compartment ( under the hood) needs to be looked at. maybe a wire is loose. unplug the battery for 5 minutes then hook it back up and start your vehicle. if that doesn't fix it i would take it in to be looked at
