If you try to mirror others, you'll eventually lose all sense of yourself. AND, besides, it is just not possible to be all things to all people.
In short, "to thine own self be true." In the long (and short) run, you'll be a lot happier and certainly more satisfied.

I have found that I have to actually be like the Chameleon. Ihave to play the game so that others see me a certain way so that I can get a good job so that I can get a good pay raise when evaluation comes around. If i want my neighbors to respect me. I have to be a certain way publicly; When I leave the work palce and the night falls I can be who I really want to be. I an let my hair down, go to the fetish clubs and really let loose. It is really difficult to "be who you wanna be" and be successful.

My experience has been that it is nearly impossible to get others to see who you wanna be. People see what they want to see.....it's human nature.
