Supra Ventricular Tachycardia can cause your heart rate to speed up for no apparent reason. Please speak to your doctor if you're experiencing fast heart rate for no apparent reason (ie: excertion, anxiety, fear)

It's nothing to fool around with. If left unattended can cause you to pass out or even go into heart failure as the blood doesn't circulate out of the heart and fluid can build.

Any food or herb that "increases metabolism" will increase your heart rate. For example, lots of weight loss supplements have the side effect of high heart rate (and potential heart problems). Anything that has high glycemic index (foods that convert to blood sugar quickly) will increase heart rate. Also psychological anxiety will cause release of adrenaline which will increase heart rate -- if these come on strong and suddenly they are called panic attacks.

well, tension and anxiety can speedup heart rate. i strongly dont believe it matters what food u eat. if ur allergic i guess you will just get an allergic reaction which does not consist of speedy heartrate.... unless u start to get afraid or u panic
