My partner does this also. He says it's more comfortable.
Just because they CAN stand, it doesn't mean they HAVE to:)

What difference does it make if he stand or sits, I cant beliieve your asking such a question, does it affect your relationship with him? I think it is odd you have to ask a question like this, alot of men sit to pee and I do as well I find I get more out by sitting!!
Btw are you inplying only Gay men sit to pee? I find that very offensive!! learn some respect!! also there are more problems in this word to worry about then if men sit to pee or not!!

I knew someone who would only pee sitting down when his GF is around because he was embarassed of the peeing sound.. ask him if this is an issue, in which case he can pee directly on the porcelin and off the water, which should lower the sound.
Otherwise, his mother (or whoever raised him) might have taught him to pee sitting to avoid spillage or spraying all over the toilet.. My husband is good about this, but my father and brother in law and my male cousins pee all over the toilet - especially in the mornings!!! Count your blessings when you have to clean the bathroom floor!

I sit too because I don't like pee splatter on the front of my pants. Beside its a great time to take a break and think. I'm not gay either. Less chance of getting something caught in the zipper.

My husband sits and i am very grateful. Look at it this way he is being considerate. You will not fall in in the middle of the night and there is also no pee to sit in on the seat and it is way less messy cause it does not spray on walls, floors and anything else.

"NONE of my ex's ever did this" ??????? Exactly how many times have you been married at (+/-) 25 ??
Who cares if he sits down .... what's it hurt anyone? Guys 'can' stand but there is no rules that we are 'supposed to stand' ... Sometimes guys just want to sit down for a little bit of time and privacy away from all the daily hectic crap they have to put up with ... I;m sure you understand.
I think the real issue here is that you have no trust in your husband .. maybe do him a favor and trade him in for the next one?

I have seen homes where wife forces toilet seat to be fixed so that men at home should sit and pee.
He probably stands in public men's room.
Most likely his mom forced the family to sit on toilet seat so to ensure bathroom stays clean.

My boyfriend does it too. He says he only likes to stand up when he's in a public place to at someone elses house. He says its just more comfortable to sit down and relax. Also he never leaves the seat up so that's cool. There's nothing wong with it.

Why do you females get so freaked-out over a guy's peeing technique? It's none of your damned business if we guys pee standing, sitting, upside down, or any other way.
Get a life!

My boyfriend always sits to pee. At first I found it odd, but I don't worry about it. We don't have to worry about putting the seat down, and it's more comfortable for him. Lots of guys do it, don't worry about it.
