At this point, my perfect proposal would be, "Hey honey, lets go to Reno this weekend and get married!!"

We have been together 10.5 years and it is like come on, lets just do it! We know we will and we aren't offically engaged, but it is just a matter of time.

I of course would love like a romantic dinner out and he propose that way!

My now husband proposed to me 3 months after we met - he asked me to go ring shopping with him after 1 month. So I knew he was going to propose - I just didn't know when or where. Every year he made pastries and desserts (he's a pastry chef) for a pre-Christmas charity event that takes place right before Thanksgiving. We went to the VIP event and after the auction, Santa Claus called us up on stage. I was completely stunned. In front of a room full of people, he proposed. What was most amazing is that it felt like we were the only two there. I said yes and the rest is history :)

i LOVED my proposal...it was a total surprise. we went to a nice Inn and the room we had had rose petals all over the bed and the floor. (that alone was a shock...i thought we were going camping) it was so sweet. we were going to curl up in the bed and watch movies (well...) and there was a knock at the door. The front desk clerk dropped off a gift box for me and i handed it to my fiance puzzled and lo and behold it held the most PERFECT ring. I was clueless he was going to propose... earlier i had pointed to my ring finger and told him it was lonely, little did i know it would have a best friend in a few short hours.
I have the sweetest fiance, i love surprise proposals! (not that i have had any others)

Of course, I think mine was perfect..

My husband chartered a sailboat and he took me on a sunset sailboat ride. During that ride, the captain was able to get the dolphins to come up to the boat ( I love dolphins). After the sunset, we docked the boat, and went into town for dinner. After a nice dinner, we returned to the boat to spend the night on the sailboat. When we got back to the boat, I noticed music playing from inside the cabin. I walked into the cabin and there were roses & choc covered strawberries waiting for me. My husband handed me a card and it read, "For the beautiful bride to be", then I looked at him and he was kneeling there with the ring of my dreams (a heart shaped diamond)

I had so many proposal ideas in my head. And when he finally proposed, it was nothing like I wanted, but it was everything I wished it would be. I could not have dreamed it any better, even though it was nothing like I planned.

I recently got engaged to my boyfriend of 1 1/2 years. He included my son, Cameron (from my previous relationship), and our dog, Roxy, in the proposal. Both my fiance and Cameron painted pictures (of their hands) and wrote "will you marry me?" on it. Cameron held the picture and Roxy had the ring tied around her neck. They walked in the room, with my fiance following, and he got down on one knee and asked.
