My ex a few days ago flirts with my best friend on and off or at least until I am around. Why does he do that to me when we are suppose to be friends? My best friend said that she can't stand him and wouldn't do that to me. Does he flirt with her because he still has feelings for me and just wants me to be miserable just because he is? He has never done that before and he knows that she wouldnt even consider going out with him. He also wanted to take her to homecoming but she said no. Later on I told him that I didnt want to be friends with him because of the way he has been acting. To avoid an argument I didnt tell him the exact reason. All he said that it was up to me and wasn't going to change my mind about it. What could that mean when we have been best friends once before? His he just grieving? Because after all, he broke up with me. Is he trying to make me jealous or is he making me miserable just because he is? Help from someone that has been in this situation.

I’m sure that this question been asked and answered like 500 times already? Why do we have to endure reading these repetitive recycled moronic questions? Is there some contest going on to see how many times the Answers community can ask the same idiotic question?

I believe he still has feelings for you... I took many classes on human behavior and well... if he broke up with you and is still hanging on then. Remember you are both still young. Do you still like him? would you go back with him if he asked? is it worth being friends. School goes by fast and let me tell you.. you do lose contact with everyone. I just had my 20th high school reunion and i can count on both hands and still have fingers left over with who i stayed in touch with.

It never really works to stay friends with an ex-boyfriend. Your next one won't like it. Your next boyfriend deserves to have your FULL attention and won't feel like he's getting it if the ex is around. Reasonalbe, maybe not. True, yes. Relationships are complicated enough aren't they??

tell you what, for the next week dont talk to him, dont look at him, and if he talks to you be kind and friendly, but dont let the conversation drag on much. Then ask me another question in a week, Itl probibly be "My Ex-wonte leave me alone!"
