The Pope says that people from other religions are just fine because they worship God but that's not what Peter said or Jesus said. If the Pope is supposed to be Christ's representative here on earth then how can he allow millions of people to go to Hell because he doesn't tell them what Peter whom they claim was the first Pope said?

..."Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, "Rulers of the people and elders, if we are being examined today concerning a good deed done to a crippled man, by what means this man has been healed, let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead--by him this man is standing before you well. This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." Acts 4:8-12

He's trying to be "nice" and open-minded so he can make headway (and not be shot) in non-Christian countries.

That's not what this Pope or the last Pope meant...

The Catechism, and JPII were clear...and consistent with the Catechism and the idea of a loving God. It's NOT Universalism, as you imply.

Look at what JPII said:

"Eternal damnation remains a possibility, but we are not granted, without special divine revelation, the knowledge of whether or which human beings are effectively involved in it. (General Audience of July 28, 1999)"

You, sir, are playing God. I hardly think that this Pope or any Pope has "rejected" Jesus Christ.

Just your narrow version of a "Celestial Sorehead" who sits in heaven throwing thunderbolts.

St. Peter did say that. St. John also said "God is Love". Or did you conveniently forget that?

In the real world, the book is nothing, as there are more people in this world that doesn't believe it.

If this old man, Pope, start to said that the book said, then he and his followers will be destroyed in no time by the majority.

WHAT-------Who made the Pope Christ's representative??? Please, the Pope believes in Syncretism which is a fusion of different systems of belief. He tells the truth and then apologizes for doing so. Let us love one another he says as he takes your money and runs. He is no representative of Christ or Christians.

If millions of people are thrown into eternal torment because they do not worship a being, than that being deserves no worship.
