Ladies, in your opinion which type of guy would you reccommend for your friend if you were to set her up on a blind date and why would you choose who you did? I need help deciding. Here are the potetial candidates:
1) Downhome Country Boy loves to show & raise horses. Knows value of $. Has always had to work for everything himself. Loves to drink whiskey & have small house parties. shaggy brown hair & goatee. Weight~ 200 Height~6'0
2) Uptown Chicago Gangsta~ loves to flaunt money, expensive clothes,& flashy cars. Long black hair,tounge ring, tattoos, & cocky attitude. Also a BIG drinker/smoker. Weighs ~125 and~5'6.
3) Sloppy Hippie Guy w/ never combed long sholder length hair, baggy pants, and always a tye-dye shirt. He weighs about 270 and is about 5'7. Plays guitar, smokes, drinks like a fish. Very Smart, though.
4) Nerdy Chemistry/Video Game Lover~ Very Smart, but never had a girlfriend. Long curly hair, tan, Italian, w/ glasses. ~ 160 & 5'6. Drinks occasionally.

It really depends on your friend, how attractive she is, and what her interests are. I would pick number 4, personally.
But I really don't approve of fixing people up on blind dates as a general rule - if things go wrong, you'll get the blame.

#1 is my first choice. I prefer clean-cut but some shagginess is alright. I like people with a serious work ethic and who are responsible with money. I prefer smaller parties to big loud blow-outs too, so that would work out well...
I don't like anyone who would be referred to as a gangsta, just not my style, not at all. Also don't like ********* and the BS that goes along with someone who is all hung up on expensive clothes. I think that's a pathetic attempt to hide a lack of personality and it's blatantly a show of unoriginality. Pass on #2, totally. He'd be a waste of my time.
#3 I don't like either, but better than #2. I hate being around smokers, and I put a LOT of effort into staying in good shape, so the fact that he's a total fattie is a major turn-off too. Sloppiness has its time & place, but I have business dinners so I need someone who can, on occasion at least, clean up and dress the part for my sake (and the sake of my career). The brains and the guitar are great, but if I feel like I'm going to gag from smoke inhalation...gotta pass on him too.
#4 takes 2nd place for me. I like nerds. I just don't like the long hair, but other than that...he sounds good tood. I'd have no problem looking past the hair to go out with this guy.

To be honest, I wouldn't really choose any of them. But if I had to, it'd be the country guy. He might be the only one responsible and mature enough for any kind of a relationship.
